Vice Curator Liv Svae

We are delighted to announce that our Vice Curator Liv Svae had the honor of participating as a distinguished member of a panel discussion on impact talent. As the Vice-Curator of the Global Shapers Oslo hub, she contributed valuable insights at the Global Talent Week event. The conference, organized with meticulous attention to detail by Bjørn Christian Nørbech and his exceptional team, provided an ideal platform for engaging discussions and knowledge exchange.

During the panel discussion, our Vice Curator explored the skills required to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 (#sdgs2030). She actively contributed to the discourse on how educational systems can effectively equip talented individuals with the essential skills and mindset necessary to drive transformative change. Furthermore, she provided valuable perspectives on the qualities that employers should seek when recruiting talents, with the aim of fostering impactful transformation within their organizations.

One key highlight of her participation was her emphasis on the importance of including young people in decision-making spaces worldwide. By advocating for meaningful engagement, she underscored the significance of embracing intergenerational collaboration. Our Vice Curator eloquently articulated the need to nurture curiosity, imagination, resilience, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, thereby enabling individuals to become future-ready and adaptable to change.

We applaud her for her remarkable engagement and look forward to witnessing the continued success of her endeavors in advancing sustainable development and achieving the UN’s ambitious goals.
