Børge Brende becomes the new President of the World Economic Forum
Professor Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, announced today that the board has nominated current Foreign Minister Børge Brende as the new President/Leader of the World Economic Forum. The Foreign Minister will take up his new position from mid-October.
Børge Brende has long been an active supporter and contributor to the Global Shapers Community, and has participated in projects such as #ShapeSustainability, various Shape conferences, and events organized by the World Economic Forum.
We at Global Shapers Oslo look forward to continuing to work with the Global Shapers Community, the World Economic Forum, and incoming leader, Børge Brende.
